Hi or hello?

Romans 15:7

King James Version

7 Wherefore receive ye one another,

as Christ also received us

to the glory of God.

Hi" or "hello"?

Why does it matter?

Aren't they the same?

Not so.

Sometimes, the accepted thing, may not be acceptable.

SPIRIT opened my eyes to it.

As born again, I'd rather say "hi!".

Sounds like HIGH.

"Hello" has the word "hell" in it.

Have you noticed?

I'm not superstitious.

Just awake.

And aware.

The secret in words (and in word play) is the SOUND of words.

So, that's that.

Let's use "HI!", in place of hello.

I prefer sending you to "high" places.

Where GOD is!

INCONGRUOUS words

Matthew 5:37

King James Version

37 But let your communication be,

Yea, yea;

Nay, nay:

for whatsoever is more than these

cometh of evil.

We're wired for words, so let's play.

Consider these "incongruous" words.

Incongruous, because somehow, they're not in "harmony".

Incon-GREW-uous words sure made for great fun.

As well as expanding my mind vocabulary.

See what I mean:

CON-FEW-sion

Nothing few about the confused.

Nothing few about those who confuse.

DEMON-STRAIGHT

Nothing straight about demons.

S-WARM

Nothing warm about a swarm coming upon you.

Whether in a dream, or in reality.

At the moment those are the ones that came to mind.

But you get the idea.

Will update, as words come to mind.

The thing about word play -- call it a secret, if you wish -- is that you don't force it.

You just let SPIRIT teach you.

Planting words that take root.

At will.

And bingo!

You're on a roll!

WAKE up from this SPELL

1 Timothy 4:7

King James Version

7 But refuse profane

and old wives' fables,

and exercise thyself rather

unto godliness.

It's time to wake up.

We've been in a spell, too long.

Consider these words:

FEY-ry

FEY-ble

FEY-mous

It's all "fey".

Now, you know why GOD doesn't like fairies, fables, and your being famous.

These are all abominations to Him.

We are not to adore, idolize, or become fascinated by any creature from earth, or below.

ALL GLORY belong to GOD alone.

Somehow, as I read many books on new age in the past, I wasn't particularly drawn to the subject on "fairies".

Angels, yes.

But not fairies.

Now, I know why.

The seemingly tiniest, most "innocent" looking "creature" (though they come in MANY forms), had the most infiltration.

Such is the enemy's ways.

When you speak the word "fairy", it has the word "fey" in it.

That word is a noun, and yet also an adjective.

When they call you "fey", you're a self-indulgent kind of person -- to the point of vanity.

When people say you are being "fey", they mean you are being "otherworldly".

You're not being "real".

Perhaps, "shy".

Even "sly".

"Feigning" something.

There is no truth to you.

Now that I know Scripture, there is only JESUS, GOD's WORD -- the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

And then, there's the "other" world, not of GOD.

Merriam-Webster explains more about the sly word "fey".

Let SCRIPTURE remind you GOD's LAWS concerning "otherwordly" stuff.

Exodus 20:1-6

King James Version

20 And God spake all these words,

saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God,

which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt,

out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,

or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,

or that is in the earth beneath,

or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them,

nor serve them:

for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,

visiting the iniquity of the fathers

upon the children

unto the third and fourth generation

of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them

that love me,

and keep my commandments.

Jeremiah 10:1-15

King James Version

10 Hear ye the word

which the Lord speaketh unto you,

O house of Israel:

2 Thus saith the Lord,

Learn not the way of the heathen

and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven;

for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3 For the customs of the people are vain:

for one cutteth a tree out of the forest,

the work of the hands of the workman,

with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold;

they fasten it with nails and with hammers,

that it move not.

5 They are upright as the palm tree,

but speak not:

they must needs be borne,

because they cannot go.

Be not afraid of them;

for they cannot do evil,

neither also is it in them to do good.

6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee,

O Lord;

thou art great,

and thy name is great in might.

7 Who would not fear thee,

O King of nations

for to thee doth it appertain:

forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations,

and in all their kingdoms,

there is none like unto thee.

8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish:

the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish,

and gold from Uphaz,

the work of the workman,

and of the hands of the founder:

blue and purple is their clothing:

they are all the work of cunning men.

10 But the Lord is the true God,

he is the living God,

and an everlasting king:

at his wrath the earth shall tremble,

and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

11 Thus shall ye say unto them,

The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth,

even they shall perish from the earth,

and from under these heavens.

12 He hath made the earth by his power,

he hath established the world by his wisdom,

and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice,

there is a multitude of waters in the heavens,

and he causeth the vapours to ascend

from the ends of the earth;

he maketh lightnings with rain,

and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge:

every founder is confounded by the graven image:

for his molten image is falsehood,

and there is no breath in them.

15 They are vanity,

and the work of errors:

in the time of their visitation

they shall perish.

Romans 1:25

King James Version

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie,

and worshipped and served the creature

more than the Creator,

who is blessed for ever.

Amen.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6

King James Version

5 For though there be that are called gods,

whether in heaven or in earth,

(as there be gods many,

and lords many,)

6 But to us there is but one God,

the Father,

of whom are all things,

and we in him;

and one Lord Jesus Christ,

by whom are all things,

and we by him.

Galatians 4:3

King James Version

3 Even so we,

when we were children,

were in bondage

under the elements of the world:

Colossians 2:8

King James Version

8 Beware lest any man spoil you

through philosophy and vain deceit,

after the tradition of men,

after the rudiments of the world,

and not after Christ.

1 Timothy 1:4

King James Version

4 Neither give heed to fables

and endless genealogies,

which minister questions,

rather than godly edifying

which is in faith:

so do.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

King James Version

3 For the time will come

when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but after their own lusts

shall they heap to themselves teachers,

having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears

from the truth,

and shall be turned unto fables.

Titus 1:13-14

King James Version

13 This witness is true.

Wherefore rebuke them sharply,

that they may be sound in the faith;

14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables,

and commandments of men,

that turn from the truth.

2 Peter 1:16

King James Version

16 For we have not followed

cunningly devised fables,

when we made known unto you the power

and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,

but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

1 John 4:1-4

King James Version

4 Beloved,

believe not every spirit,

but try the spirits

whether they are of God

because many false prophets are gone out

into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:

Every spirit that confesseth

that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh

is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not

that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh

is not of God:

and this is that spirit of antichrist,

whereof ye have heard that it should come;

and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God,

little children,

and have overcome them:

because greater is he that is in you,

than he that is in the world.

James 4:7

King James Version

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.

Resist the devil,

and he will flee from you.

Have nothing to do with fairies.

Have nothing to do with fables.

Have nothing to do with elementals.

Have nothing to do with new age.

Have nothing to do with the demon world.

Seek GOD.

Become BORN AGAIN.

Believe in JESUS.

Believe in the GOSPEL.

Live by the TRUTH of GOD, which is SCRIPTURE.

This blog was created to help you become aware of words.

Only through SPIRIT can we have discernment.

1 Corinthians 2:14

King James Version

14 But the natural man receiveth not

the things of the Spirit of God:

for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them,

because they are spiritually discerned.

DEFINITELY a CURIOUS WORD

1 Corinthians 14:40

King James Version

40 Let all things be done decently

and in order.

Curious word this word "definitely".

Been calling to me.

So, it's play time, and SPIRIT gave me freedom to explore.

The secret is in speaking the word out loud.

Then you can determine the "variations".

Here are the variations we came up with:

DEAF-initely

De-FEE-nitely

Defi-NEAT-ely

It carries three other words in it.

Can you think of such words, that do?

I sure can!

SPIRIT gave me the word, "impossibility".

Here goes:

IMP-ossibility

Im-POSS-ibility

Impo-SEE-bility

Impossi-BEE-lity

Impossibili-TEA

Oh my, I got surprised there.

FIVE others words surfaced.

More than I expected.

But you see, that's how it is to play with SPIRIT.

Rather, how SPIRIT plays with me.

Whatever He created me for.

Whatever's to be found in my brain.

He allows me free rein.

Even as only GOD can REIGN.

See that.

See that.

SPIRIT's at it again.

Why do you think I can't ever get bored?

ONE word is all it takes.

One word speaks volumes.

That's how my life has been.

Since day one.

And now that I'm born again?

I ain't seen nothin' yet.

Consider this blog an exercise in GREAT FUN.

With SPIRIT at the helm.

Expanding your heart, your mind, your vision, your joy.

Only the SPIRIT of GOD can do that.

He will guide you, to the WORDS that MATTER.

SHOES the world OFFERS you

Proverbs 31:30

King James Version

30 Favour is deceitful,

and beauty is vain:

but a woman that feareth the Lord,

she shall be praised.

The world offers us many shoes.

Here's what's being offered:

Ambi-SHOES

Atro-SHOES

Boda-SHOES

Capri-SHOES

Deli-SHOES

Effica-SHOES

Fero-SHOES

Loqua-SHOES

Mali-SHOES

Ostenta-SHOES

Perni-SHOES

Preten-SHOES

Rapa-SHOES

Sala-SHOES

Tena-SHOES

Uncon-SHOES

Vora-SHOES

What kind of shoes do you wear?

We born agains wear the simplest.

The cheapest.

The most durable.

Simple, fun wear.

Almost childlike.

Lightweight.

Comfortable ones.

For our hearts are focused on CHRIST alone.

We don't want to be judged by our shoes.

We don't need anything fancy.

We'd rather you know our hearts are in Christ.

He did command us:

Matthew 10:14-15

King James Version

14 And whosoever shall not receive you,

nor hear your words,

when ye depart out of that house or city,

shake off the dust of your feet.

15 Verily I say unto you,

It shall be more tolerable

for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha

in the day of judgment,

than for that city.

The LORD JESUS warned us appropriately.

For He knew, unbelievers may show us the door.

In their SHOO-wear.

Why PEOPLE can't SPELL

Psalm 119:130

King James Version

130 The entrance of thy words giveth light;

it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Fret not, that you can't seem to spell.

Maybe you're not word-crazy like me.

Maybe, your gifts lie elsewhere.

Maybe, you can't spell, coz you haven't heard the word spoken.

Or used in a sentence.

Maybe, English is not your first language.

And if I'd spell in your native language, I'd surely fail.

But for purposes of this English-written blog, allow me to focus on spelling in English.

Consider this word "SOW".

And its various "implications".

All supported by Scripture.

C'mon, say it out loud.

SOW.

Now, you must admit, it sounds like:

SOW (a pig).

Matthew 7:6

King James Version

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs,

neither cast ye your pearls before swine

lest they trample them under their feet,

and turn again and rend you.

SEW (such as needlework).

Psalm 90:17

King James Version

17 And let the beauty of the Lord our God

be upon us:

and establish thou

the work of our hands

upon us;

yea,

the work of our hands

establish thou it.

SOW (the fruits of our labors).

Galatians 6:7

King James Version

7 Be not deceived;

God is not mocked:

for whatsoever a man soweth,

that shall he also reap.

SO? (indifference).

Matthew 11:16-17

King James Version

16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation?

It is like unto children sitting in the markets,

and calling unto their fellows,

17 And saying,

We have piped unto you,

and ye have not danced

we have mourned unto you,

and ye have not lamented.

You see, they all sound the same.

Unless it's spoken, or used in a sentence, we won't get it.

Unless we hear HOW it's used, it won't be of much use to us.

If we have compassion for each other, we'd simplify words for each other.

We won't try to prove our superiority.

Colossians 2:8

King James Version

8 Beware lest any man spoil you

through philosophy and vain deceit,

after the tradition of men,

after the rudiments of the world

and not after Christ.

People can't spell, because there are too many variations in words.

That's why I put my WHOLE TRUST in the BIBLE.

It's God's HOLY BOOK.

It's so easy to understand.

GOD keeps repeating verses.

JESUS uses parables.

The intention is to help us understand God's commandments.

And yet, the Bible has many versions, too.

The HOLY SPIRIT led me to KING JAMES VERSION, or KJV.

I understand it perfectly.

His WORD is all I care to know about.

He doesn't care if I can't spell.

He only cares I don't fall under a spell.

Acts 8:11

King James Version

11 And to him they had regard,

because that of long time

he had bewitched them

with sorceries.

So, don't be so hard on yourself.

FOCUS on GOD's WORD.

That ought to get you to a good start.
