Are you SINCERE?

1 Corinthians 2:13

13 Which things also we speak, 

not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, 

but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; 

comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Blame it on my hearing.

Which latched on to the word "sincere".

All because I heard a sermon using that word.

And here's how it sounded.

Go check.

Didn't that sound like:

sin-seer?

Honestly?

It sounded that to me.

The playful mind GOD gave me, thought a thing.

Wouldn't it be nice if we are seers with our own sins?

That we can clearly see, and acknowledge our sins?

Since we're full of it, anyway.

I know GOD doesn't like seers.

Leviticus 19:31

31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, 

neither seek after wizards, 

to be defiled by them: 

I am the Lord your God.

But for the purpose of this article, I chose the other  definitions Merriam-Webster gave out.

"Seer" is:

-- one that sees

-- a person credited with extraordinary moral and spiritual insight

I am not referring to those practicing divination.

Only GOD sees.

Only His SPIRIT sees.

And He calls our attention to it.

If you're born again, a Bible-believing person, you will surely hear the LORD.

You will see as GOD wants you to see.

Especially with the issues of sin.

And you will pay attention.

SEAR that sin, through the FIRE of the HOLY SPIRIT:

2 Corinthians 7:1

7 Having therefore these promises, 

dearly beloved, 

let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness 

of the flesh and spirit, 

perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

So, are you sin-seer?

Isaiah 61:11

Do we have the SEEDS to know the HOLY SPIRIT?

Even before we became born again?

Even if we're not yet born again?

Even if we don't know GOD yet?

Even if we're not believers yet?

For sure!

For we were given the GIFT of LIFE.

Check what Scripture has to say:

GOD's BREATH of LIFE is in us.

Genesis 2:7

7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, 

and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; 

and man became a living soul.

Job 33:4

4 The spirit of God hath made me, 

and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

By the very breath of life GOD gave us, we became a living soul.

Why, then, do we follow the ways of the world?

Why can't we honor our bodies, as temples of His SPIRIT, when GOD's SPIRIT dwells in us?

1 Corinthians 3:16

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, 

and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We are buds waiting to fully bloom.

Unless we are born again in CHRIST, we have "stuck knowledge".

Only the SPIRIT of GOD can get us to full bloom.

Only He can activate us, in His service.

John 14:26

We ALL have that POTENTIAL to blossom in CHRIST.

1 Corinthians 12:13

There can never be stuck knowledge when SPIRIT's around.

He will teach us about JESUS.

ROE versus WADE

 

Genesis 1:20

20 And God said, 

Let the waters bring forth abundantly 

the moving creature that hath life, 

and fowl that may fly above the earth 

in the open firmament of heaven.

Why the constant debate about Roe versus Wade?

The abortion issue.

It's all water anyway.

Roe, fish roe.

Wade, wade in the river.

Babies in the womb were protected by amniotic fluid.

It's all water.

LIFE is all about GOD.

For His presence was like warm sea foam in an old dream I had.

Creating comfort and reassurance in my heart.

He is the LIVING WATERS.

In case you think I'm being flippant about things, I shall write another article SPIRIT's been guiding me to.

"WHEN did LIFE begin?"

The things man fight about needs the TRUTH of GOD in it.

But we took GOD out of the courts.

What can we expect?

The debates continue.

While millions of babies have died.

GOD was clear:

We need GOD, more than ever.

For the bridge is JESUS.
